This listing is for the MacFie Room at the MacFie Home. Our beautiful and historic home is the perfect spot for your next getaway. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, exploring the local area, or just in need of a relaxing retreat. We have curated every inch of our home to ensure your comfort. You'll find a variety of breakfast goodies in our kitchen during your stay and locally sourced delights like soap, coffee, and drinks. Message us for info booking the whole five bedroom house.

A king-size Nectar bed, high thread count sheets and a large bathroom with jacuzzi tub & shower. This is our largest room and is the only room on the main floor. It is the perfect place for a romantic weekend or a quiet retreat. It's entrance is through the Library (Green Parlor) and is set back in a quiet part of the main floor.

Guests will be given a unique code to access the home. Our suites are equipped with keypad locks so guests can safely secure their things while out.

Our bathrooms are NOT shared. You will not have to share your assigned bathroom with anyone outside your party.

You will have access to the the MacFie Room, kitchen, dining room, Blue Parlor, Green Parlor and both outdoor areas.

I will be available throughout your stay as little or as much as you would like--it is up to the guests in the home!

We love to greet guests and even if we cannot for whatever reason personally, one of our family members will be there! We will be sure to have welcome goodies for you and as always all of the items you will need for a continental breakfast in the kitchen to help fuel you before exploring Cape!

Located in the middle of historic Downtown Cape Girardeau! Within walking distance to the riverfront, Southeast Missouri State University and all the restaurants and stores in the Old Town Cape district.

Century Casino Cape is less than 5 minutes away and we are only a 5 minute drive to Southeast Hospital & the Show Me Center; 15 minutes to the SportsPlex and 10 minutes to Shawnee Park Sports Complex.

We have parking located in the back of the house and on-street parking is available when necessary.

Walking to local restaurants and shops is a breeze. There are several other rental properties near us and we know many of our neighbors. This house is loved by all on its street!

We will have continental type breakfast items stocked in the kitchen and on special weekends we may do breakfast if we have a full house! We will let you know at the time of your booking.

We do recommend Sands Pancake House if you want to eat out. We will confirm your breakfast food preferences and weekend breakfast plans before your arrival.

We do ask that all overnight booking guests are at least 21 years of age. We do not allow pets at this time or children under the age of 12. We are sorry for that inconvenience.

Please remember the space is for MacFie House guests only. Please do not bring outside guests into the home that are not overnight guests at MacFie House.
